بحمد الله، تم إجلاء الشاب المصاب يوسف النجار إلى أحد مستشفيات جمهورية مصر العربية لتلقي العلاج العاجل وإنقاذ حياته، بعد معاناته من إصابة بالغة في الكتف الأيسر جراء قصف إسرائيلي، تسببت في كسر مفتت بعظمة العضد وكسر في لوح الكتف، إلى جانب جرح واسع ومفتوح امتد إلى أعلى الكتف ومنطقة الإبط والجزء الخلفي من الكتف والظهر، وكانت حالته تتطلب تدخلاً جراحيًا ترميميًا متخصصًا لإعادة بناء الكتف وعلاج الأضرار الشديدة التي لحقت بالعظام والأنسجة.

يوسف ليس الوحيد الذي ينتظر فرصة للحياة، فما زال آلاف الجرحى والمرضى في قطاع غزة بحاجة ماسة إلى الإجلاء الطبي العاجل لتلقي العلاج في الخارج، في ظل عدم توفر الإمكانات الطبية اللازمة، وبينما ينجو بعضهم بعد انتظار طويل، يفقد آخرون حياتهم بسبب التأخير، فيما يواجه الباقون تدهورًا مستمرًا ومعاناة يومية تهدد حياتهم، بانتظار فرصة قد تأتي متأخرة أو لا تأتي أبدًا.

Thank God, the injured young man, Yousef Al-Najjar, has been medically evacuated to a hospital in the Arab Republic of Egypt to receive urgent treatment and lifesaving care after suffering a severe injury to his left shoulder in an Israeli airstrike. The attack caused a comminuted fracture of the upper arm bone (humerus), a fracture of the shoulder blade (scapula), and a large open wound extending across the upper shoulder, armpit, and the back of the shoulder and upper back. His condition required specialized reconstructive surgery to rebuild the shoulder and repair the extensive damage to the bones and surrounding tissues.
