The Howarding continues...

"Why do you care if people give you credit as long as the words resonate with them?"

Because it matters to me and I won't apologize for that, but also because I've seen a few too many comments like:

"Why the hell should I listen to some Hollywood celebrity who's worth millions? He doesn't know what it's like to struggle!"

When people think it's coming from some rich celebrity in his ivory tower, they dismiss it. The words DON'T resonate and they don't sound genuine because they're coming from someone with a huge net worth. Putting Ron Howard's name on it makes it sound insincere.

So I keep trying. Which then results in comments from some very delightful people...

"You obviously knew you were a nobody, so that's why you attached a celebrity's picture to get people's attention."

"Well, if you did write it, you had no right to use Ron Howard's name just to get more people to read it."

"Wow, way to try to steal something from Ron Howard. Try writing your OWN piece instead of trying to take something from a celebrity."

"Ha! So this is fake news from you lying Democrats!"

And that's to say nothing of the private messages.

Sigh.
