An update from a lifelong average surfer and now as a councillor. There isn’t a ‘surfing licence’ or fee anywhere in the council budget.

I seriously can’t believe I have to write this - what a wild time to be alive and hard to comprehend that people are happy to spread misinformation to such a degree for their own enjoyment.

I know people use social media for ‘information’, but deadset, please think before you share and fact check.
