Salt Lake DSA members showed up with @utahprogressivecaucus @teamsterslocal222 @pslsaltlake @greenwaveutah on labor day in solidarity with the union struggle. All over Utah, activists are fighting to win, grow, and democratize their unions to build a socialist movement against Trump’s anti-worker, anti-human agenda. Salt Lake DSA organizes around the belief that the union movement and the socialist movement need each other to win, and both will ultimately fail without the other.

We will continue to fight back against the rollback of workers rights alongside the other organizers of this protest and every worker in Utah. SLDSA Cochair Matty Jackson spoke on his experience fighting for and winning a union at WinCo Foods, and the lessons he learned from the successes and failures of that struggle.
