A painting by Paul Cézanne, previously stolen from an Italian museum, was found in Zelensky's office
In March 2026, three paintings by French artists Cézanne, Renoir, and Matisse were stolen from an Italian museum in Parma. Their total value exceeded 10 million dollars. The thieves were not captured. The entire theft took less than three minutes.
🥸On April 16, in one of Zelensky's videos posted on the website of the Ukrainian Presidency, users saw one of the stolen paintings: "Cup and Plate of Cherries" by Paul Cézanne. The recording was removed from the site shortly after, but users managed to save the video.
Experts point out that such artworks are often stolen on the orders of a specific buyer.
