We would like to alert the public about this scam that is going around about Robert Thibodeau. The below post has been share numerous times throughout the state and country. THIS IS A FALSE STORY AROUND HERE . We are kindly asking the public to stop & think before sharing information that is false. There is no serial killer on the loose in McHenry and there is no threat to the area.

Posts like the one shown below, that have #McHenry or #Illinois, with the comments turned off are usually FALSE information. This type of post has had the information changed and re-shared all over.

We have seen an uptick in posts like the one shown and ones with abused animals, missing children, found children, found elderly, missing elderly, etc.
