Limpopo woman arrested for collecting child support from eight men for one child

A 35-year-old woman, Nancy Mudau, has reportedly been arrested for allegedly defrauding eight men by collecting child support from all of them for the same child over a 12-year period.

According to sources, the men were each led to believe they were the biological father of Ms Mudau’s child and contributed financially, including paying school fees.

The scheme reportedly helped Ms Mudau build a luxurious house, and at the time of her arrest, she was in the process of constructing a tavern allegedly also funded with the child support money.

The shocking case has sparked outrage and disbelief in the Nzhelele Biaba community, with authorities expected to investigate further and determine how the deception lasted for over a decade
