Starting July 5,2025, big changes are coming to Canada’s roads. The federal government will introduce the New Canada Driving Law 2025. This major development is set to make streets safer by enforcing stiffer penalties and creating consistent driving laws all across provinces and territories. ⁣⁣

𝘚𝘱𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘴𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘭 𝘻𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘴: Currently, speed zones in school areas are province-based and time limited. It means that provinces set their own school zone speed, and it is applicable during school hours. Starting July 1, 2025, all provinces and territories must adhere to 30km/h, and this is 24/7, whether school is on or not. ⁣⁣
